Why Bansko?
Being located on Bansko-Razlog plateau we are there at 1000m above sea level. We avoid the summer heat and take advantage of the mountains’ freshness. This will be fantastic beautiful ride in and between the three biggest mountains not only in Bulgaria but on the Balkans. Rila National Park with the highest peak on the Balkan Peninsula – Musala (2925m) and UNESCO reserves, Pirin National Park with UNESCO reserves and mysterious Rodopi – native place of Orpheus.
Bansko is a small ski resort. In the area there are nice hot thermal springs.
The 3 big mountains are full of trails for ALL LEVEL hiking, running and a real PARADISE for Mountain Biking. Small isolated villages, local people, local rural life, tasty fruits and vegetables coming from the valleys, lots of local taverns - MEHANA…. are some of the unique features of that amazing area.

We start directly from the place you stay. During the first day ride we can have idea of your riding level and this gives us a significant information how better to prepare the following riding days for you. Views are everywhere and everything is green and green. Very often we see local people in their gardens in the fields on horse ot donkey chariots.
Rila - Razlog area
From Pirin (where we were yesterday) we switch to Rila mountain. Nice forest roads and isolated tarmac sections in the lower parts of the mountain. On south we will spot all the time the magnificent ridges and peaks and the plateau itself.
Rodopi – ride in the Forest
Fascinating biking in mighty pine forests. Here, the quality of the fresh air is amazing! On our way we are crossing some isolated hamlets where time has stopped…
Dobrinishte area – Bezbog Lake
We will use a chairlift to get to one very beautiful mountain lake at 2250m. After admiring the alpine sceneries we are coming back to Gotse Deltchev hut and then we start beautiful riding in the area.
Rila - Belitsa Bear Park
Again we are coming back to Rila mountain. We ride along a nice river valley to the Bear Park where we can approach at very close the so called “dancing bear” and to learn the history of their life.
